Bendigo’s Sophie Hawken wins bronze at ITU Aquathlon World Championships
BENDIGO triathlete Sophie Hawken has claimed a bronze medal in her section of the 2016 ITU Aquathlon World Championships in Cozumel. The 35-year-old posted a time of 39.15 in the short course event and narrowly missed out on a silver medal by less than five seconds.
3T Congratulates the ‘Conquer Cancer’ Riders
The 3T ‘cycling amigos’ – Daniel Jackson, David Collier and Peter Spranatis have successfully completed their mission, the 2014 ‘ride to conquer cancer’. The event was a ride from Melbourne to Mornington, and back, a course of some 200 kilometres over two days. 3T trainers, Sophie and Tim, were at Albert Park to see ‘their boys’
Second Placing for 3T Dragon Boat Team!
3T Fitness entered a team in the annual Dragon boat regatta, held at Lake Weeroona. No expectations were placed on the team – the approach was to ‘try something new’ (without any experienced ‘Dragon Boaters’, and with only a couple of short training sessions on the water in the week leading up to the event).
